Sonny Kim is a highly experienced golf coach with over 14 years of coaching experience in Western Australia.
He began playing golf in 2006, starting later than most, but quickly developed strong technical knowledge and passion for coaching. In 2011, he achieved his Teaching Professional Qualification, and since 2012, he has been actively coaching golfers of all levels — from beginners to advanced players — helping them improve performance, consistency, and scoring.
Kim is widely recognised as a dedicated and structured coach, known for his clear communication, personalised training programs, and strong commitment to player development. In recent years, he has specialised in junior golf development, focusing on building long-term pathways for young golfers through skill-based training systems, performance monitoring, and athlete-focused coaching strategies.
In 2022, he commenced the PGA Associate Program in Australia, and he is currently in his third year of study, preparing to obtain full PGA of Australia Membership in 2026.
He is also the CEO and Head Coach of Winners Golf, where he leads the academy’s coaching system, program development, and junior player pathways, aiming to build one of the strongest indoor golf coaching environments in Western Australia.
